Uploads in progress, files being converted and original files not yet deleted all count toward your storage quota. Once a video is ready, only the converted file counts. Each upload must fit within your remaining quota, and conversion may need extra room if the converted file is larger than the original. Videos must be 16:9 landscape and at least 720p.
Maximum file size: 20 GB · Uploads also depend on your remaining plan quota. Total trial storage is 5 GB.

Yongcast does not provide video content. You must own the copyright to everything you stream or have permission to use it.
Frequently asked questions
Do I need to leave my computer on?
No. Once your videos are uploaded, our servers handle the stream. Your YouTube channel keeps playing when your computer is off.
Which streaming platforms do you support?
YouTube is currently supported. Create a livestream on your YouTube channel, then add its stream key to Yongcast.
What is the video quality?
All output is 1080p (1920 × 1080 at 30 fps), including during the trial. Videos are converted to this format when added to your library. You cannot select a different resolution for individual streams.
What do the three upload quality options mean?
They are compression options, not different resolutions. Choose High quality, Standard or Space saver when uploading. Resolution stays the same; storage size differs. Standard is the default and a good choice if you are unsure.
What videos can I upload?
16:9 landscape videos at 720p or higher. Any frame rate is accepted and converted to 30 fps. Files that do not meet these requirements are rejected in your browser.
Will I be charged when the trial ends?
No. The trial requires no payment details. Monthly automatic renewal starts only after you actively confirm a paid card subscription.
Can I cancel anytime?
Yes. Turn off automatic renewal in billing settings after logging in. Access you have already paid for continues until the end of that billing period.
How do upgrades and downgrades work?
Contact us by email to change your plan. Automatic upgrades, downgrades and prorated adjustments are not available yet.
Is extra storage a one-time purchase?
Online storage purchases are not available yet. Contact us to discuss extra storage.
Does a failed payment stop my stream immediately?
Your access continues through the period you have already paid for. If payment is still outstanding when that period ends, streaming and uploads stop. Restart your streams manually after payment is resolved.
How do I pay, and can I get an invoice?
